This luxury itinerary combines two of the country’s premier safari destinations, Lower Zambezi National Park, and South Luangwa National Park . We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites.
Safari options include expeditions by private C208 planes, 4×4 vehicles, and hikes. While this itinerary might seem short, this five-day trip through two of Southern Africa’s most iconic destinations will be more than enough to satisfy you. Begin your adventure in Victoria Falls and experience the romance and magic of one of the world’s natural marvels. Then it’s off for a safari experience of a lifetime in Botswana. Known for its high concentration of elephants, Chobe National Park is the perfect place to encounter big game, and with its diverse landscape, you can do so by boat or in a 4×4 safari vehicle.

They are stunning falls on Zambezi River they appear in form of a horseshoe-shape. It is difficult to reach these falls from Lusaka since it takes around 2-3 days to reach there. They are a great place where by one can have spectacular views while there.
To the north, the South and North Luangwa national parks boast intimate bush camps accommodating as few as 4 guests. There are also Zambia safari tours of breathtaking lodges that have brought a new level of luxury to the parks, none better than Time + Tide Chinzombo. The South Luangwa National Park is largely unaffected by man, and the safari camps truly reflect that. Most of them are mobile tented camps so at the end of the season, they are taken down to let the landscape recover. As well as game drives, South Luangwa is the best place on the continent to do a bush walk. Norman Carr was the pioneer of the walking safari and today, exceptional walking safari guides continue his legacy.
